How we run IT

Boring, in a good way.

The best IT is the kind you don't notice. Laptops work. Email arrives. Phones ring. Patches land overnight. Threats get caught before coffee. Your team get on with their job and your board gets a monthly report that actually makes sense.

We support 65+ UK businesses from our Warwickshire base. Every one of them runs on the same underlying stack, so the engineer who picks up your call has seen it before.

FAQ

Common questions about managed IT.

How much do managed IT services cost in the UK?

Netix Digital managed IT plans are £40, £60 or £80 per seat per month, excluding VAT and fixed for a 12-month term. A seat is one user plus one device. If your device and user counts differ you can split it instead: Essentials is £30 per device plus £10 per user, Pro is £40 plus £20, and Premium is £50 plus £30. Essentials is remote-only cover; Pro adds quarterly on-site visits, MDR, a dedicated account manager and SLA-backed response, which is where most clients land; Premium adds extended hours, monthly on-site visits, a named technical engineer, mobile device management and ISO 27001 readiness support.

What is included in a managed IT services contract?

Every plan includes a UK helpdesk with 30-minute triage, unlimited remote support, 24/7 monitoring, OS and third-party application patching, managed EDR on every device, email security, DNS web filtering, Microsoft 365 or Google tenant administration with tenant backup, and hardware and software procurement. Pro adds managed detection and response with a 24/7 SOC, mobile device management, quarterly on-site visits, security awareness training, vulnerability management and monthly reporting. Premium adds a named technical engineer, data loss prevention, monthly on-site visits and ISO 27001 readiness support. The full service line matrix is further up this page.

Do you support businesses outside Warwickshire?

Yes. Our helpdesk and remote tooling support clients across the UK. The core team is based in Coventry city centre and on-site work is most cost effective within roughly an hour of that base, which covers Rugby, Leamington Spa, Warwick, Kenilworth, Birmingham, Solihull and much of the wider Midlands. We also have an additional engineer based in Salisbury covering Wiltshire, Hampshire, southern Somerset and Dorset on the ground.

How fast do you respond to a ticket?

Every ticket is triaged within 30 minutes, guaranteed. Raise it however suits you: portal, email or phone. It is picked up by a real engineer in the UK, not an offshore triage desk, and most are resolved on first contact without escalation.

What are your support hours, and can we get cover outside them?

Standard cover is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6pm on every plan. Two uplifts extend it, and both are available on any tier rather than being reserved for the top one. A 20% uplift on your service lines moves cover to 7am to 8pm and adds P1 and P2 call-out around the clock. A 40% uplift gives full 24/7 cover at all priorities.

What is not included in the plans?

Anything that is priced per unit rather than per seat. Server, virtual server and desktop backup is charged per device, although Microsoft 365 tenant data is backed up inclusively on every plan. Managed network and infrastructure is quoted per site once you have more than a single router and access point. Cyber Essentials Plus assessment, Azure consumption and a full AI governance programme are quoted as projects. We also do not bundle third-party penetration testing: we run vulnerability scanning and remediation, and commission a penetration test separately if you want one.

Can you take over from our existing IT provider?

Yes. We run structured onboarding that captures documentation, credentials, asset inventory and known issues from the incumbent within the first two to four weeks. Most clients see zero downtime through the handover and an improvement in ticket throughput within the first month.

Are you Cyber Essentials certified?

Yes, Netix Digital is Cyber Essentials Certified. We also help clients achieve Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification as part of the security baseline included with our managed IT plans.

Not sure which plan fits?

30 minutes with an engineer, not a salesperson. We'll look at what you've got, what hurts, and what we'd change.
