Why Kettering

The local picture, written by people who actually live here.

Kettering's economy has been quietly broadening. The traditional manufacturing and distribution base is still substantial, but there's been steady growth in professional services and smaller tech businesses across NN14, NN15 and NN16. The A14 corridor connects it nicely to the wider Midlands and to Cambridge, which means a lot of the businesses here trade across both regions.

We're about 45 minutes from Kettering on the A14 from our Coventry office. Same-day on-site as standard. For routine planned work we tend to combine Kettering visits with stops in Northampton or Corby the same day so the engineer's diary lines up.

The kit is the same we deploy across the rest of our client base: SentinelOne and Huntress for security, Microsoft 365 with Intune and Entra ID for productivity, Cisco Meraki or TP-Link Omada for networking. Manufacturers want OT segmentation and the office network kept clean from the shop floor. Professional services firms want CE Plus and proper MFA. We do all of it.

FAQ

Common questions from Kettering businesses.

How quickly can you be on-site in Kettering?

For a real P1 inside business hours, comfortably inside the day from Coventry. About 45 minutes via the A14 in normal traffic. Most issues are resolved remotely on first contact.

Do you support manufacturing businesses in Kettering?

Yes. We handle the office IT (Microsoft 365, finance and HR systems, internal networks) and segment it cleanly from any operational tech. For deep OT (PLCs, industrial controls), we partner with specialists rather than pretend to be one ourselves.

Can you support multi-site businesses across north Northamptonshire?

Yes. Multi-site is one of our regular patterns: Microsoft 365 for office staff at each site, SD-WAN or VPN connecting them, segmented networks between office and shop floor, and centralised monitoring through our RMM tooling. Same kit at every site.

How is your pricing structured?

Per seat per month, excluding VAT, fixed for a 12-month term. A seat is one user plus one device. Three tiers: Essentials (£40) for remote-only cover, Pro (£60) which adds quarterly on-site visits, MDR and a dedicated account manager, and Premium (£80) which adds extended hours, monthly on-site visits and a named engineer. If your device and user counts differ you can split it instead, from £30 per device plus £10 per user.
